We will help your child on their way to success regardless of their skill level. We offer comprehensive beginning reading programs focused on mastery of phonics, reading fluency, and sight word proficiency to make sure our students are starting off on the right foot. If your student needs help with the fundamentals in math, reading, writing, coursework from school, or even SAT & ACT Prep, our highly skilled tutors will get them pointed in the right direction. We work hard to develop study skills and good organization habits to make sure our students are prepared for success. As an added bonus, we continuously monitor your students’ grades via Infinite Campus or their school’s online grade platforms to help make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Our individualized approach targets your student’s weak points and improves upon them, bringing their ability up to meet goals that we have collectively established with you and your family. By covering key points at the student’s own pace, we allow them to flourish and learn at a stimulating and rewarding rate.

Nicole was born and raised in Southern California. She attended Loyola Marymount University, where she earned a Bachelors in Liberal Studies and her Multiple-Subject teaching credential. Her journey in education let her to the Tutoring Club in 2014, when she started on as a tutor. Nicole quickly fell in love with the positive learning environment and came on as Director of Education in 2018. She has enjoyed getting plugged in with the Newport/Mesa community and loves to help students achieve their personal goals.
Outside of the Tutoring Club, you can most likely find a Nicole working with her husband to renovate their historical home or chasing after their adorable baby girl!
Debbie Hernandez was born and raised in Santa Ana, California. Her education background is impressive, as she graduated from Los Amigos High School and attended Cal Poly Pomona as an Applied Mathematics major. She first engaged in tutoring as a peer-instructor for Migrant Education in the Long Beach Unified School District. While employed in this position, Debbie not only helped high school students with understanding Geometry and Algebra, but also gave them advice on college, life, and everything in-between. Before becoming a director, Debbie was a tutor at Tutoring Club in Fountain Valley. As a tutor, she made learning fun for all of her students. Her students loved working with her because she not only helped them academically, but she also listened to them and gave them advice when needed. As a director, Debbie is still helping students succeed, and at the same time, she is also working with their parents by listening to their concerns. Debbie understands the demands of the parents with whom she works with because she is also a parent. On her free time, you can find Debbie playing Pokémon Go at a nearby park with her daughter.
