Submitting Updating From Digital Binder

The student binder is your go to source for all student program content and supplemental resources. It is also where you can submit completed student lessons for updating. Submitting lessons for grading will allow the director to take the grades you submit and update TutorAid (which will then update the digital binder to complete the loop).

Reading Program

  • Grading – Each lesson has a score box next to the Copy Link button. Scores are entered as whole numbers with no percent sign (80 for a score of 80%).
  • Submitting – After you enter the student’s scores (you can submit them all at once if you choose), click the orange Submit button in the top right corner.
  • Cleanup – After you submit the scores, you can delete the pages from the whiteboard to minimize the clutter.

Beginning Reading Program

  • Grading – Each lesson has drop down box above the Submit and Copy Link buttons. Scores for Beginning Reading are all Mastered/Not-Mastered. There are no answer keys for BR, so Mastery or Non-Mastery is determined by the outcome requirements of the lesson.
  • Submitting – After you enter the student’s score for the lesson, click the blue Submit button on the left under the drop down box.
  • Cleanup – After you submit the scores, you can delete the pages from the whiteboard to minimize the clutter.

Standard Math / Writing / Algebra

  • Grading (Pre/Post Tests) – Pre and Post Tests are graded by entering the INCORRECT question numbers into the text box (ie 6, 12, 15 if the student missed those questions).

  • Submitting – After you enter the student’s score for the lesson, click the blue Submit button on the left under the drop down box.
  • Cleanup – After you submit the scores, you can delete the pages from the whiteboard to minimize the clutter.

That is all there is to updating. It is important to keep in mind that, for now, when you submit scores, they are only updated once the Director or other admin inputs those into TutorAid. If you need immediate update, contact the person who does the updating and ask them to input your submissions.
