Rx Reading

Our phonics-intensive program is appropriate for preparing for 1st grade or for readers who are struggling with phonics. Beginning reading provides a solid foundation from which to progress to higher reading levels that rely on fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

Program Content:

Consonant letters and sounds
Short vowels
Simple sight words
Basic sight words
Long vowels
Basic blends
Vocabulary and comprehension
Five primer levels

Course Length:

A program spanning entry-level kindergarten through grade 1.5 is 72 - 96 hours. Most children require fewer hours. This is a guaranteed program and time requirements based on test results and parent objectives are addressed at the post-test conference.
